Small market but have many delicious Vietnamese deli treats
I come here mainly for the roasted pork banh mi sandwiches. It’s delicious and only $7. There other sandwiches are great too! On the day I came for this review, they were out of the roasted pork banh mi. Oh well… it’s very popular. The overall store is clean and good sized. Their fish sauce selection is excellent.
The deli inside of the supermarket it's a hidden gem! Super yummy restaurant quality food for cheap. A box meal is only $13!
The big sign outside says Ha Tien in bold green and neon, hard to miss. The store is located in one of the most beautiful buildings on University Avenue, a striking Modernist design with flowing streamlined curves and lines outside and repeated inside. The market itself is very well stocked, clean and bright and well ordered. Excellent range and variety of foods, prepared dishes available, hot and fresh. You really deserve a visit!
